Manage Users

For Admins.

The Users tab (person-group icon, visible to Admins) lets you add, change roles for, and deactivate users in your organisation.

View your users

Tap the Users tab in the tab bar.

Users are listed sorted by: active first, then by role (Admin → Editor → Technician), then alphabetically by email.

Each user card shows:

  • Email address
  • Name (if set)
  • Deactivated badge — if the account is disabled
  • Invite pending badge — if the user hasn't yet set their password after being invited

Add a user

  1. Tap + Add (top-right of the header).
  2. Fill in the Email (required), Name (optional), and Role.
  3. Tap Create & invite.

An invite email with a temporary password is sent to the new user automatically. They must sign in and set a permanent password before using the app.

AdminEverything Editors can do + manage users

Change a user's role

In the user row, use the role dropdown to select a new role. A confirmation dialog appears before the change is applied.

Changes take effect on the user's next sign-in. An existing session will continue to use the previous role until the token refreshes.

Deactivate a user

Tap Deactivate on the user row. The account is immediately disabled — the user is signed out and cannot sign back in.

Deactivated users are shown with a Deactivated badge and remain in the list.

Reactivate a user

Tap Reactivate on a deactivated user row. The account is re-enabled and the user can sign in again.
