The full Viewer screen showing: the ruler at the top, a card in the centre with field values visible, the progress bar below the card, and the nav bar at the bottom with the ×, ◀, card counter, ▶, and ≡ buttons all visible. Ideally capture a card that has a mix of fixed values and editable fields.

Moving between cards

Swipe left or right on the card to move to the next or previous card. Swipes on active text inputs are ignored.

Arrow buttons (◀ and ▶ in the nav bar) navigate one card at a time. The buttons are disabled at the first and last card.

Card Jump — tap the ≡ icon (bottom-right of the nav bar) to open the Card Jump overlay. It shows a scrollable list of all cards in the template. Tap any card to jump directly to it.

The Card Jump overlay open over the Viewer, showing a scrollable list of cards. The currently active card should be highlighted. Capture a template with at least 5 cards so the list is meaningful.

The Card N / Total counter in the centre of the nav bar always shows your position.

Filling in editable fields

Cards can contain fields configured as Editable (entered live during the inspection). These appear as tappable inputs on the card. Tap the field and type or select a value.

Fields set to Fixed are pre-filled and cannot be changed in the viewer. Fields set to From setup show the values entered on the Setup screen.

Keep screen awake

To prevent the screen from dimming during an inspection, enable Keep screen awake during inspection in Settings. This uses the Screen Wake Lock API (iOS 16.4+ / Chrome).

Closing the inspection

Tap × (top-left of the nav bar) to exit and return to the Inspection Card Templates list.

Values filled into Editable fields during an inspection are not persisted. VBIC cards are display references.
